Zest, established in 2005, aims to bring together singles, young marrieds and couples from Herts, Beds, Bucks and the surrounding areas, in a friendly, welcoming environment.

Our first event was a very successful Race Night, where we donated £500 to Sugar Free, who raises money for a cure for diabetes.

Future events will include informal coffee evenings, a Jive night, Picnics, Quizzes and hopefully many more!

We welcome all new members.

Are you 12 – 19 Years Old?

Hi, I’m Daniel, 18 and myself and the Synagogue Council are seeking teenagers (or young adults if you prefer) to set up a youth club, like the Judean Club of yesteryear, where we would get together for activities and just socialise. You don’t have to be living in Luton; you can live anywhere in Herts, Beds, Bucks and Greater London. The base can be each others’ homes (with permission from your parents) for the evening and then we can all go out later on. We could always hire a hall – but there are costs! (The Synagogue hall may be usable – if looked into to, the Council is still looking into a permanent place for the Synagogue)

So, to start things going, the new youth club needs a group of people to manage things and gather ideas as well as participants. Usually, the older teenagers would take charge, but anybody, 12, 13, and 14 are allowed too. The youth club is to have a Jewish theme, but we would encourage any non-Jewish friends to come along too.
