The Activities page has now been updated with the forthcoming events and festivals for the Summer.
The Luton Hebrew Congregation wishes everyone a Happy Pesach. There are a number of Services over the festival.
We have now purchased our new Synagogue Building.
Why not join us in the task of making this a centre for Judaism that we are proud of?
The new building will be the permanent place for Luton's Jewish Community, where we can hold a place for Services, to have Cheder classrooms for education of Jewish Children and a venue for social activities.
We would like to raise funds to be able to use and improve our new building and our initial target is £50,000. Our plan is:-
After two months we have now raised over £13,000, and with many more donations promised. We hope to reach our target shortly and to be able to occupy the new building shortly.
| We offer religious services on Friday nights and Saturday mornings (Shabbos) as well as Jewish festivals. Services will continue during the improvements to our new building. Please contact our Rabbi for more details. |
We will fundraise by holding events, and we will also publicise this new building, as a new beginning for the Jewish Community in Luton and surrounding areas. We would like to attract new members to our Community, and we feel that having a new building is a new attraction that we haven't been able to sell before.
Using this website, we would also like to take this opportunity of inviting you to send donations for this notable project in the history of Luton's Jewish Community.
